Start with some powerful protein
The missing link in many morning meals is protein. It is what you need to go strong and stay focused until lunch.
Go lean with protein. Try a slice or two of Canadian bacon, an egg, a slice of deli meat or cheese, a yogurt, a scoop of cottage cheese, or leftover meat from the night before.
Keep your balance
Being able to maintain your body’s balance is critical as we get older. Loss of balance is a common cause of injury. Your core muscles for balance are in your back, belly and pelvis. Like all your muscles, the core muscles need strength, stretching and practice. Yoga, Pilates and balance ball activities are great ways to practice balance and build a strong core.
